Terms and Conditions

Welcome to YourCarSolution. By booking a Private Hire Vehicle or Taxi (Cab) through our platform (https://www.yourcarsolution.com), you agree to be legally bound by the terms set forth below. If you do not accept these terms, you must not proceed with your booking. If you’re booking on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.


1. Definitions

  • “Agreed Pick-Up Point” – the location where you will be collected, as specified in the booking.
  • “Agreed Time” – the specific date and time for your pick-up.
  • “Booking” – a reservation made for a journey via our website.
  • “YourCarSolution” – the platform acting as a booking agent for Private Hire Operators (PHOs), not the transport provider itself.
  • “PHO” – the licensed Private Hire Operator or Taxi company responsible for delivering the ride.
  • “Card” – credit/debit card or PayPal account used for payment.
  • “Cash” – payment made directly to the driver.
  • “Quote” – the fixed price provided to you at the time of booking.
  • “Fare” – the amount charged for the journey.
  • “Trip” – the actual journey between pickup and drop-off.
  • “Passenger” – any individual traveling in a booked vehicle.
  • “Details” – the trip and contact information you provide at booking.
  • “Particular Requirements” – special requests (e.g., child seats, female driver, disability access).
  • “Personal Data” – your private information, such as name, address, email, phone number, and payment method.
  • “Website”www.yourcarsolution.com, including any affiliated mobile apps or digital platforms.
  • “You” – the individual submitting the booking or using our platform.

2. Use of Website

  • You must provide complete and accurate booking details.
  • You confirm that you are over 18 and legally authorized to make bookings.
  • YourCarSolution operates solely as a booking agent. The transport contract is between you and the selected PHO.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until you see a confirmation screen and/or receive an email.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking, in which case a full refund will be issued if payment was made.
  • Cookies may be used for analytical purposes to enhance user experience.
  • You can unsubscribe from marketing messages by emailing info@yourcarsolution.com with the subject “unsubscribe” or replying “Stop” via WhatsApp.

3. Bookings

  • Quotes provided are real-time offers and are only valid during the booking session.
  • Booking may be governed by the PHO’s own terms, but our Terms will prevail in case of conflict.
  • We cannot guarantee fulfillment of Particular Requirements. For special needs, we recommend direct arrangements with the transport provider.
  • In case of input errors during booking, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the affected reservation.

4. Payments

  • Card Bookings: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Cash Bookings: You must pay the driver directly upon trip completion.
  • Receipts for online payments will be sent via email. VAT receipts for the transport portion can be requested from the PHO directly.
  • Extras such as additional luggage, waiting time, or requested stops may incur additional charges to be paid directly to the PHO.
  • Promotional codes are applied first to YourCarSolution’s fee; any balance applies to the PHO’s fee.

5. Insurance & Liability

  • YourCarSolution and PHOs do not insure or cover any loss or damage to goods carried. You are responsible for insuring your own belongings.
  • We are not liable for missed connections, delays, or lost revenue due to late arrival.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may cancel a booking by submitting a cancellation request via the Contact Us form or email.
  • Cancellations made before the cutoff time shown in your confirmation are eligible for a full refund (excluding any card or payment processing fees).
  • Cancellations after the cutoff time are non-refundable.
  • For vehicles with 9+ passengers, cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance unless otherwise noted in your booking.
  • If the driver fails to arrive within 15 minutes of the Agreed Time and you do not take the ride, a full refund (including card fees) will be issued.
  • If you are not present within 15 minutes of the Agreed Time, the PHO may treat it as a no-show without refund.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 3–5 business days to the original payment method.

7. Conduct & Behaviour

  • Drivers may cancel the ride or terminate a trip if passengers behave disruptively or pose a safety risk.
  • Alcohol consumption during the ride is prohibited.
  • Drivers have the right to refuse service to anyone appearing intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

8. Limitations & Exclusions

PHOs will not carry:

  • Hazardous materials or items prohibited under the law.
  • High-value items (e.g., jewelry, antiques) above £50 in value.
  • Perishable or fragile items without prior arrangement.
  • Neither YourCarSolution nor PHOs are liable for losses due to breakdowns, weather, strikes, or force majeure events.

9. Disputes & Complaints

  • You must first contact the PHO within 24 hours of the Agreed Time for any issues.
  • If unresolved, contact info@yourcarsolution.com within 72 hours of your booking time.
  • If still unresolved, we may refer the dispute to an independent party for resolution. You agree to accept their decision.

10. Privacy Policy

We protect your Personal Data in line with our Privacy Policy. Your data will only be shared with PHOs involved in your booking or as required by law. For full details, please refer to our [Privacy Policy page] (insert link if available).


11. Legal

  • These Terms form the entire agreement between You and YourCarSolution.
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts, unless otherwise required under applicable international consumer laws.
